A leading global investment bank with a strong presence across the globe is seeking a high-performing Investment Banking Associate to join its Chicago-based Industrials M&A team. This team is experiencing significant growth and is particularly active in the Industrials sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, as well as other strategic advisory engagements.
• Conduct in-depth industry, company, and financial analysis to support deal execution and client pitches.
• Build and maintain complex financial models including DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and merger models.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials with a focus on quality and strategic insight.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for clients.
• Participate in due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring processes.
• Contribute to business development efforts and ongoing client relationship management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• 3+ years of investment banking experience at a top-tier firm or an MBA with prior banking experience.
• Strong technical foundation in corporate finance, valuation, and M&A execution.
• Prior exposure to Industrials is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• High level of maturity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
